There are FTA channels on the DStv satellite that can be accessed on any free-to-air satellite receiver. Having a stable DStv signal with this frequency (12245 H 27500) plus the Master decoder will get you those free channels on the DStv platform. Although they are not enough, you can still add them to your channel lists.

Follow the steps below to get DStv on Master Decoder:

Press on the Menu button on your remote.
Look for Installation and press OK on it.
DVB – S2 and press OK to proceed.
On the next page select Antenna Settings
Select the satellite you will use to scan the DStv free channels. You can select DStv satellite which is EUTELSAT 36E.
After selecting the satellite, go back to the TP list to add the DStv Transponder (12245 H 27500)
After saving the DStv Transponder, go back to the Antenna Settings page to scan. With the scanning, select Blind Scan/Super Blind to get more FTA channels.
