DStv smart card number is the serial number of a DStv decoder. Every decoder have it own unique smart card number which helps in any registration process. When it comes to the decoder activation, you’re required to provide the smart card number before it can be connected to the DStv platform. There are many areas where you can check the smart card number of your DStv decoder.
A) On The Decoder Box
They use to place some stickers on the decoder box that have the smart card number.
A) At The Back Of The Dstv Decoder
They normally place stickers at the back of the dstv decoder that have the smart card number. It begins with SC.
C) You Can Check It In The Installation Menu

Follow the steps below to check it from the decoder settings menu.
- Press on the DStv logo on the remote.
- On the menu page look for help and press OK on it.
- Put it on General Information and select Information Central and press OK on it.
