DStv have free channels available on their satellite (EUTELSAT 36E). Using an FTA decoder and having a working satellite dish, you can scan the Quality Advanced S2 Decoder the right way by selecting blind scan option to get free channels available on the DStv satellite. Although there are few free-to-air channels on the DStv satellite, you can still add them on your satellite receiver. If you have a working software that can unlock paid channels, you can scan the DStv channels on the Quality Advanced S2 Decoder. It’s illegal to break into a paid system for free.

Follow the steps below on your Quality Advanced S2 Decoder to scan for the free DStv channels on it:

• Press on the menu button on your remote.

• Look for installation and press OK on Antenna Settings.

• Select your satellite, you can select the DStv satellite ( EUTELSAT 36E) or a different satellite.

• Add your transponder if you can’t find the DStv tracking frequency (12245 H 27500) from the list. To add the transponder, go back to the transponder list to add.

• Go back to the Antenna Settings to select blind scan option when scanning.
