MultiTv is a free to air (FTA) satellite TV provider in Africa and you can get free movies, live shows and religious channels on it to watch. Now to get this channels you need a satellite dish of 50cm or above and a satellite receiver. You can use an inbuilt satellite TV if you have.
Those living in West Africa will get this free channels on the Northwest 28degress. Any free to air (FTA) satellite decoder you are using, press menu on your remote and you look for Satellite installation, Dish Setting’, Dish Setup. Any of this names, you press OK and on the new page where you will find where you will find the satellite names of various TV providers. Choose the satellite name ASTRA 2A/2B 28degrees E, that’s their satellite if you. If you don’t find this satellite name on your list, choose any satellite on the East which the degrees ranges from 26 to 70. You can create own satellite name as well.
So you need to press Ok on the selected satellite name to open and then you go ahead to add the MultiTv transponder. Every satellite decoder, there are indications on the down screen which helps to command what you want to do in the satellite name list or the transponder. Either you want to add, edit, delete or scan. So you need to choose add command on your remote to add the MultiTv frequency and Symbol rate which is (12525 V 3000) and then you press OK to save.
After saving your newly frequency and symbol rate, you need to scan for your free MultiTv channels. Most of the decoders you will find the Blind Scan Option outside the transponder page. If press Ok to scan on the transponder page, you will get only manual/defaults scan option.
