THE VIDEO BELOW ILLUSTRATES HOW TO USE A DiSEqC SWITCH
Diseqc switch
To connect a DiSEqC switch, you will need the following components: the DiSEqC switch, a satellite dish, a satellite receiver, and coaxial cables. Here are the steps to follow:
Disconnect the coaxial cable from the LNB (Low Noise Block) on the satellite dish.
Connect one end of the coaxial cable to the “LNB IN” port on the DiSEqC switch.
Connect another coaxial cable from the “LNB OUT” port on the DiSEqC switch to the LNB on the satellite dish.
Connect the satellite receiver to the DiSEqC switch using a coaxial cable. Connect one end of the coaxial cable to the “SAT IN” port on the satellite receiver and the other end to the “Receiver Port” on the DiSEqC switch.
Connect another coaxial cable from the “Common Port” on the DiSEqC switch to the “ANT IN” port on the satellite receiver.
If you have more than one satellite dish, connect another coaxial cable from the second dish LNB to another port on the DiSEqC switch. Repeat this step for each additional satellite dish.
Power on the satellite receiver and the TV. The receiver should automatically detect the DiSEqC switch and start scanning for channels.
