This quick guide on how to install Dstv HD decoder models to an old TV set. Any Dstv decoder installation, you need to get an active Dstv signal and you move on to insert your cables at the right position to link the Dstv decoder to the TV set and the satellite dish.

STEPS
- Get Dstv stable signal with transponder (12245 H 27500). Note: you cannot track Dstv signal with the Dstv decoder. It’s always advisable to track your Dstv signal with a satellite finder or any free to air satellite decoder.
- Connect your coax cable(with F connectors) from the satellite dish to your Dstv decoder.
- Connect your AV cable from the Dstv decoder to the old TV set. Fix the respective colour of the AV cable to the AV port on the TV set.
- Connect your adapter cable to power the decoder.
